An Avvo.com Q&A user asked:
Bulging discs, sciatica, hip pain, low back pain, rotator cuff pain. How much settlement?
Our response
If your are still in agonizing pain and have all of those injuries, my recommendation to you is to get some more treatment. It is not really advisable to settle your case until you have reached your maximum medical improvement, which is the point after which you are no longer reasonably expected to have major lasting improvement from medical care. I don’t think you are there yet. Once you get your medical care and reach MMI, you can have your case evaluated for settlement purposes by a competent workers’ compensation attorney. You may want to consult with a worker’s compensation attorney now to assist you with getting more medical care and relief of your symptoms.
