Dillon J. Mermell, Esq.
Dillon Mermell has worked for The Law Offices of Gillis, Mermell, & Pacheco since 2014, as an associate since 2020. He has also worked at The Law Offices of Renner, Vogel, Mandler, & Rodriguez, P.A. as a legal intern performing legal research and drafting memos, motions, contracts from 2018-2019. He was a law clerk for the Honorable Ellen Sue Venzer in the Criminal Division of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida in Miami drafting memorandums and opinions from 2016-2017.
Mr. Mermell handles his own caseload and is being closely supervised by Clifford R. Mermell, Esq. and David Pacheco, Esq., who have over 54 years of combined attorney experience in handling Defense Base Act and Longshore cases. Mr. Mermell has quickly accelerated his learning curve and is already proficient in new client intakes, depositions, informal conferences, settlement evaluations, demands, mediation, settlement procedures and general handling of all aspects of a DBA, and/or Longshore case up to trial.
